Hey Guys,
If anyone in or around the Montgomery, AL area cares to know, I spotted two pretty decent 24V trucks for sale.
#1 truck: A 2001 Red 3500 quad cab ETC 5-speed. I drove this truck. It looks great, cloth interior, seems stock, and I didn't notice any wiring manipulations down in the typical Edge EZ connections area. That's not to say it hasn't ever been modified, but it appeared to be totally stock since birth. The AC wasn't getting as cold as my truck. It had 92k miles if I remember right. It was only a 2WD truck, but like a said, a 5 speed (with a 3. 54 gear). Don't see too many manual trannys. *Asking* price was in the $18,000 zone... Overall I thought it was a good truck, ran stock OK, and had a Tekonsha brake controller (so it has towed). Oh yeah, I could tell it was not on its original clutch. It had a much harder effort than mine.
#2 truck: A 1999 white 3500 (I think) standard cab 2WD with 5 speed transmission. I did not drive this truck or see how many miles. It had a gooseneck ball in the bed. Seemed like an OK truck for a standard cab 2WD.
Both of these trucks are at Ingram Motor Company on Troy Highway. Which is located about 1/4 to 1/2 mile south of where Taylor Road ends on Troy Highway, going south its on the left. Ask for Brent Buchanan.
I am in no way affiliated with this car lot. I was just driving by and saw a couple decent trucks and checked them out. I thought I just let someone, anyone know who may be interested.
