Can anyone explain to me what the advantage or disadvantage tire size can make? Undecided what size for the new truck.

Bigger wheels equates to a shorter sidewall = less sidewall flex, better highway handling and towing manners...
Not real advantagous if you do alot of offroad travelling, the larger wheels are a little more susceptable to damage from rocks and such. Probably not as large a selection in sizes but I don't know that for sure. They also tend to be more $$$ than a 17 or 18" tire...

Tending to be more expensive is an understatement... I ended up getting new 17" tires and rims for $200 cheaper than getting 4 new 20" tires. The way I see it is the only advantage in a 20" rim is resale of the truck.. It's easy to look past rust when the buyer can see his flat brim hat in the larger reflection, but chances are he'd be happier with mat black rims so it would match the soon to come cummins stickers in the back window..
