Archived 2000 2nd gen stalling in drive

HELP---2000 AUTO 4X4. drove 200 miles towing fiver to Lake Placid, Fla. shut down, went to register, came out started up, put in drive, engine stalled, many times in a row. Has Hypertech chip. Gives code as vacuum problem at turbo.

Will it idle in Neutral? Almost sounds like your TQ is locked

if you start it and dump it in to gear at 1200 rpm or so wil it stay running and if so will it stall when you try to stop. i would have to agree that it sounds like a tq failure. If it is it could be a good time to give the whole transmission a overhaul. id recommend georend bros for a converter and parts they set me up right, i love my converter.
