Not shifting into third Right it hesitates put in a Nother transmission and it does exactly the same it has a new throttle positioning sensor and has been calibrated install new governor pressure switch and governor sensor switch no change what else could possibly cause this problem?

Does anyone know what else could cause this problem like I said changel governor pressure valve in the transmission and I change transmission and the second transmission does exactly the same not sure what's going on anybody has any possible answer

There is pressure sensor in the trans but since you put new trans in I doubt that is the problem. It mite be your pcm ( I don't think the ecm had advanced enough to run the trans and engine).
The pcm controls shifting from receiving data from several senors, engine position senor, cam position senor (the 12 valves only had engine speed sensor) which ever one sends rpm readings to ecm and the pcm, vehicle speed sensor, trans pressure sensor, of course the tps(throttle position sensor). Wiring going to the trans has caused problems.

Decided to drag the 96 service manual out .
Delayed 3-4 up shift (slow to engage) 1. fluid level. 2 throttle valve cable misadjusted. overdrive clutch worn/burnt. overdrive clutch bleed orifice plugged. overdrive solenoid or wiring shorted or open. overdrive excessive clearance. o/d check valve missing, tps faulty. I would check fluid level, throttle valve cable, make sure tps in work correctly. You can always put a Pointometer(spelling) on instead of tps.
