Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 2000 doesn't start..help

A friend of mine just changed out a lift pump and VP-44 on his 2000 automatic 2wd truck. Truck still won't crank over after bleeding the lines etc. . what else would be the cause of this failure?ECM?O/V?Please help

Any chance the fuse to the injection pump is bad?

the fuses are in the pdc under the hood drivers side
