2000 ohm resistor din't do the job; ABS and brake lights still on!

I pulled out the glove box and disconnected the ABS module. Now only the brake light stays on... ...

I had the same problem, both my abs and break dash lights stayed on no matter what i did. I couldnt even get the truck inspected. So I pulled the dash and pulled the little lights out of their sockets. Not the best answer but it worked.

Amen! I disconnected the module and clipped the grey-black wire to the lights. Problem solved. Brake light only comes on when emergency brake is on!
