Does anyone own and mantian a polaris scambler? mine has a torn cv boot, and an oil leak around the exh pipe. I am new polaris. I don't know how they work. I have owned and ridin other wheelers(yamaha) I just dont know much about scramblers
Parts are fairly in-expensive at the Polaris dealer compared to the japanese brands. With oil around the pipe I'm assuming that it's a Scrambler 400 with the 2 stroke engine. If it's a 500 I would be more concerned. On the 2 strokes I would see how it's running. It could be something as simple as the oil injector not working correctly to as hard as the piston being cracked. The 400 2 strokes were well known for cracking pistons. Wiseco has a good replacement piston. It's really easy to change out the piston on a 2 stroke engine.
