Hey bill, I would adjust the bands and change the solenoids. Upgrade to the Borg Warner pressure solenoid. It is larger and more reliable, my truck was shifting late into 2nd, on my way back from Indiana I had to start letting off for it to shift, I thought I was in for a rebuild. Got home and tightened up bands and wow, what a new truck. If I were you I would try the bands first then do the solenoid and transducer because bands are essentially free if you do it yourself.
