2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 2001 3500 DRW brake question

I heard a growling sound today coming from the right rear brake assembly. After getting it back to our shop I removed the drum to find what I believe is a tether for the rear adjuster assembly laying in the bottom of the drum (yes it indeed did cause damage to the drum). Upon further inspection this happened to the left side as well. This is the first time since owning the truck that I have had to venture into the brakes. I do not have a diagram of exactly how this is assembled and from past experience have never seen this in any standard (Chiltons) manual.



Does anyone have a diagram of the rear drum hardware assembly that you could forward to me?
