Where to get rotors from? Last time I tried to do this job, I couldn't get rotors from any of the local auto parts places. So I just put new pads on the old ones, even though they were too worn out to have them machined (wear limit?) This is an '01, not 01. 5, if that makes any difference.

I like my EBC dimpled and slotted rotors, had them on my 00 dually and have a set on my 01 3/4 and have never had a problem... pretty good price too.

Also check the Yellow Stuff Pads for diesel trucks, they are new and I have not tried them, but sound like they are worth a try.

Got some pics in my readers rigs of the ones I put on my dually.

Try AdvanceAuto.com (partsamerica.com) I got a pair for my '01 3500 at ~$46. 00 each. They have been on for almost 1yr. I run PFCM pads. And I also got rebuilt calipers from the local Advance store but don't know if they are in TX.

It may be a little late - I just came across this thread. We carry the Performance Friction Carbon Metallic pads and ART Cryo /Slotted rotors. They are fantastic.
