2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 2001 4X4 help!

I have an 01 six speed manual, and i tried to engage the four wheel drive and the front wheels wont spin, the front drive shaft spins however nothing to the front wheels. also the 4x4 indicator light does not appear on the dash. what could be the issue?

Could be a vacuum leak, lines to the CAD or the CAD itself. You can remove the cad from the axle and use a vacuum pump to test the operation.

It indicates the CAD (centre axle disconnect) isn't engaging. The 4WD indicator is controlled by a switch on the CAD. It's vacuum controlled via a vacuum switch on the transfer case. A vacuum line is disconnected or cracked or melted or the CAD is gummed up or the vacuum actuator has failed.

My 4wd hi doesn't work, but 4wd lo does. Thinking mine is the switch on the trans case since it will work in one but not the other. Anyone know a good place to source those?
