Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 2001 cam change

Hello. I am working on a 2001 for a friend. . We would like to change out the cam and get an aftermarket one with hopefully the lobe for piston lift pump found on 12 valves. Will this be able to be done on a 2001?? Thank you, Marc

dont qoute me on it, but i think the formula 1 helix cams have them. we put a helix 3 im a friends 01 and i thought it had the lobe on there, i could be wrong. im sure someone will know for sure.

Formula one cams have it. So does the Piers stuff.

Formula 1 Diesel cams are more than awesome. Have the lobe for the 12v lift pump. PM me for details.

Just put a Helix 2 from Formula 1 and the 12 valve lift pump on my 01. You can run it with stock valve springs, just don't go over 3100 rpms. 40 psi fuel pressure at idle! Oo.



I'm going to do my head this winter, oring it and add Don's valve springs then, but it is fine to run it like it is for now.
