Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 2001 Cracked block

Went to the dealer's shop today and looked at the old and the new block. The old was a "53". The new is a "56". So, there is some "53" blocks in the early model '01's. Our manufacture date was 02/00. We appreciate all the input here. Hope this helps anyone else that has an early model '01.
