Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 2001 ETH Clutch and pump ?'s

I have a couple of questions that should be fairly straight forward for you guys.



I am getting ready to leave from the SF Bay Area to Phoenix and will need to take care of a couple of those issues lurking around the corner. The first issue that needs fixing is my fuel pressure. I have a Mallory 4140 pusher pump installed, but the best pressure I am seeing is 15lbs at idle and the needle will drop below 10 lbs WOT if I let it. Is there anyone in the Bay Area that sells/installs fixes for this problem? Any suggestions would be great.



The other issue is the clutch. After 60K and change with a banks kit and DDII's, I thnk it has just about had it. Does anybody have any suggestions for a 6sp clutch that will hold some abuse. I don't tow super heavy loads, maybe 12K at best, but want something heavy duty that will last. I would be willing to do it myself, but given the Phoenix trip on the horizon... Any shops that you guys would recommend in either the Bay or Phoenix?

Your fuel pressures sound fine to me.

As for the clutch look into a South Bend, they make different clutches for different power levels. Call them and talk to Peter. 1-800-988-4345
