My 2001 24v has a rough idle. It is like a miss and I have heard that these trucks have had a problem with the cranksensor and I wonder if that would give it a rough idle or a no start.
'01/'02s don't have the CKP-crank, only the CMP-cam sensor. It would not cause a no start situation since the VP44 has a rotation sensor for initial start up.
I am only having the problem after I drive it. When I first start it it runs fine, but it is after I drive if for a while and then stop, that is when I notice the stumble or rough idle.
