How do I tell if my motor has the hardened valve seats?

You don't have them.

Regular ETC engines only started getting a sleeve 3-4 months ago.

So yours probably isnt sleeved, but only heat induction hardened casting. "



Thats the answer I got when someone checked into it for me.



Theres a part number on the head but of course its on the back facing the firewall.

As Kat Diesel said the ETC does not have seat inserts and the ETH does. Also the regular ISB uses a different head with different inserts than the ETH.
