2001 Lift pump recall?

I've been reading about everyone's lift pump problems and happened to go to alldata.com. According to them there is a recall on the lift pump. I looked up recalls for a 2001 2500 4x4 with the CTD vin code 7. Has anyone gotten a recall letter or checked with DC about this? Another thing that made me think was something I saw on the Cummins site, it said that you were required to put a pre-lift pump filter on the medium duty ISB. Maybe a filter wouldn't hurt on our trucks.

There is not a recall covering all of the 2001's. There was a recall that covered the last of the 2000's and the first few of the 2001's. You'll need to check your engine number to the recall to see if it falls in the range.



BTW, mine('00) did fall in the recall and I had it replaced. Six months later,that pump took a dump.
