I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 2wd cab and chassis truck with an 84" CA for sale with a 6 speed manual transmission. This truck is not perfect and has high miles (356,000). I am the second pwner; it was originally owned by a garage door company in Ohio. They had a fleet of one ton trucks and a full time mechanic to maintain them. We bought this truck with an 11' foot aluminum tool body on it and the only reason we are selling is because we bought a newer 4wd truck to put under the body. This truck has always had synthetic oil every 12,000 miles with filters changed every 4,000. It has 4 brand new Firestone Transforce load range E tires on the back. The transmission shifts fine, it starts perfect and runs great. It doesn't use or leak a noticeable amount of oil or any other fluid. Asking $5000 OBO. www.thadhess@yahoo.com or pm me here at THess. Thanks

That old dog will make a good working truck for someone. It will need a good detail to start with but with a flatbed or just a steel plate and a fifthwheel or gooseneck ball and a set of fenders and taillights it could go to work immediately. The single cab long wheel base would allow a hotshotter to install a basic sleeper box from a big truck salvage yard.

When I was working as an RV transporter I thought about buying one like that to put a sleeper on and avoid motel bills.
