Truck was running ok, had some stumbing with the Edge on 5 and just got back from a short road trip. New fuel filter.

First time in a while I used pump diesel in the truck , ussually my own home brew biodiesel (better and cleaner than diesel).

Truck has a 245,000 on orginal injection pump.

I got lucky, it died in my driveway.

Codes 253, 1688 and 1689.

Any Ideas whats up other thant the death of the Injection pump before I began to pull it??

Also who got the BEST price and QUALITY injection pump?

Thanks

Kyle

When i replaced my pump in March, i got mine from Midwest Injection( i think that is the right name) They had free shipping both ways. Also, even though prices vary between vendors, all of the warranties seemed to be the same. 1 year. Randy

Yea they seem to be the same BUT the Bosch rebuilds are coming with all new electronics and updates (or at least that is what I am being told). price right now is between $1020 and $1093. Some of the resellars are getting weird about biodiesel and tapping the pump wire, too bad some bad apples ruined it for the rest of us.
