2002 Changes?

DC will be buying back my Ram. Long long story... It looks like I will be ordering a 2002. Does anyone know of any changes, or will they stay pretty much the same until the 2003s come out. I would appreciate any thing some one might know. Thanks.

2002 changes.

For the 1500, big changes.

For the 2500 and 3500 little changes other than deletions of items available in 2001 and ealier.



2003 should be the new 2500/3500.

At the rate DC is going with all their cutbacks ont he Ram, windshield wipers and a horn are going to be optional equipment...



Haven't head about any changes or deletions for the '02 trucks... Yet... I have a feeling they will be the same as the '01. 5's, and as you know, there were quite a few deletions on those.

Deletions are not always a bad thing... for example... the dreaded missing leaf in the rear springs. Could be a different type of steel, etc, etc, and may be stronger than two of the originals.

There may be little power increase for 2002 but nobodys saying anything. Read earlier on a thread somewhere that dodge and cummins are trying to get closer to the dmax numbers. I asked my dealer and they said will probably know before they do. I keep searching all websites but cant find anything at all. Does anyone else know. Dealer said my new one will be delivered in august. fingers crossed
