Subject; 2002 Dodge 2500 Quad-Cab, 4x4, Short Bed. I never thought I'd be selling this but I'm driving it once a month or less. Between me and my wife we have 5 vehicles, and we are both retired. The truck is like new inside and out. All Original Paint - Never Wrecked, No Door Dings. Anyone wishing they had kept their 2nd Generation this is it. I have been the only driver since it left the Sales Lot and it has always been garage kept. Has 78,000 miles on it. I have all the maintenance records, receipts, window sticker, owner's manual, etc. VP-44 was replaced about 20k ago and installed aftermarket fuel pump. Has fuel gauge that consistently runs 13-15 psi. Since replacement fuel average runs 19-22 combined city and highway. Transmission was overhauled at 10,000 miles (Preventative Maintenance), ATS Triple lock TC, Valve Body, and Controller. All fluids have had Amsoil products run since new and changed per required. Optional Factory Equipment include: SLT Décor Group, Travel Convenience Group, 8 way adj. seat, Trailer Tow Group w/new Bilstein Shocks, HD Snow Plow Prep Group, Camper Special Group, Automatic 47RE Built For Longevity, Axle-Anti Spin Differential, Window-Rear Sliding, Keyless Entry 2 Remotes, Radio CD/AM/FM (mp-3) Alpine upgrade w/ 6 Infinity Speaker System w/ Remote Control, Leer Truck Shell, Fog Lamps and PIAA Extreme Off-Road Driving Lights, Security Alarm, Rhino Spray in Bedliner, Thick Rubber Bed Mat, Relatively new LT285-75R16E OWL Michelin Tires, 2 New DieHard Advanced Gold AGM Batteries, Relatively New Disk Brakes Frt. & Rear with Slotted and Grooved Rotors. Lots f extra parts go with the truck. Towing Mirrors/Amsoil 15w-40/ ETC. Call Phil 864 488-0600 if any questions. Book it out your self and make an offer.

Seriously, I have babied this truck and it has been the best rig I've ever owned. I spend most of my time in the shop these days rebuilding my old CJ-5's. I occasionally drive the truck to Spartanburg if it's not raining. I only leave the property to go see the doctor once a month. If it raining I take either the Rav-4 or Rose's Yellow 99 Sport 1500.

I'd LOVE that truck, but, to be fair, its worth more that I can give. This last Spring I was trying to deal on a 2001 with 37,000 miles. Cummins 24 Valve and Auto with 4X4. It was stock and in very good condition, but not as good as yours. The Asking price, IIRC, started at $29,000!!!!! We did get them down to $25,000 but not for this Old Man! With all the extras You have on there it should bring a proud price!
Wish I could, but there is no way!
GOOD Luck!

I had the reserve set to 22,500 and that's what I got. The guy really is getting a hell of a deal especially with all the extras; 3 cases Amsoil 15w-40 Marine , Fleetguard oil and fuel filter a set of CIPA extendable towing mirrors, a nice aluminum drainable tank (complete kit) for remote relocation for the front oil vent tube which I relocated the original bottle when the truck was new over by the LF tire in front of the wheel well liner. A few issues of TDR so I better credit for him when he signs up. I have no idea where to find my referral number so I told him to mention my handle when subscribes. Did you hear that Robert and Robin, I have been sending non members to you since I subscribed in 2000. I also found 5 Banjo gaskets for the fuel lines at the VP, and an upper and lower new radiator hose. Plus the Smarty Programmer and all receipts, all maintenance records since the 1st oil change 8/14/2002 at 595 miles, all the owner's manuals for the truck and truck's accessories I've put on, including all the ATS Trans Job. The fluid in that has been changed 4 times since new and looked good every time no visible wear material you often find when dropping a pan and the Amsoil ATF went in the last change with another filter at 72,613 in 2011. I am having sellers remorse already but it's best for the truck to be driven, and all it does is take up my middle bay in the shop with the battery Tender on the batteries. The new owner is in Texas and is flying in to pick the truck up. He and his wife and two dogs, that sounds familiar, are going to get a travel trailer and start seeing some of the USA.

$16,000 is my offer in cash

Ray, Cash is no different that certified bank check, Direct Deposit Wired Money, or a pretty girl's offer in trade as partial payment, and it's sold and it's already burned daylight into Texas for $22,500.00 "Cash".

But, thanks for the offer. The man who bought the truck knows after he saw the truck and drove it, he knew and acknowledged he got a good deal at that price also.

He's a future TDR'er and Geno's Customer as well!

Like the song goes: "They Don't Make Em Like That Anymore"

If I was holding out or needed the "Cash" it would have been priced and sold for $30,000! That's what is called "Ripping a buyer's head off", making a sale. I have never done that to a customer over the years in sales or doing work for people, and as the result of that made allot of good friends of mine over the years since 1969, Point being, The price I sold it to him was fair.

Like an old sales buddy told me along time ago selling RV's; "There is an ***** for Every Seat". And the right person who took the time to look at this truck's value according to: maintenance records, vehicle build, like new condition, and extras that went with the truck, both already installed and loose in the bed and behind the front seats would be happy to pay $30k.

Cheers,
Phil

Win some lose some but it never hurts to try, thanks for the reply !

No, your right. But sometimes, low-balling can be insulting to some. I've got thick skin so it didn't bother me.

Oh, NO!!!! I have to change my vehicle specs to my 79 CJ-5's now?????

I'm Cumminsless, Ouch!!! :{
