Go to Blue Chip Diesel and check out his website. Chip is probably one of the most knowledgeable guys out there when it comes to the vp44 powered trucks. His pumps are some of the most expensive too but you just don't hear of many failures and the customer support has always been the best. The most important thing when buying a VP is to make sure the the builder installed new electronics on the pump. Most of them do but some shops still install used units on the pumps providing they pass a bench test, and then you wind up with someone's used equipment with unknown mileage. This IMO is the single most important factor in choosing a pump, probably more so than who the builder is. Not all shops announce this so you have to ask to make sure what you are getting.

Central Motive Power in Denver CO is a Bosch warranty and rebuild center - they supply most of the dealers in the region. Give them a call as well.

Ask the right questions like "Do you re-use the VP44 circuit board, or install new?"
