Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 2002 engine looses power

Have a 2002 engine will loose power you shut it off and restart and will run fine maybe a couple of days maybe couple miles any ideas? Speed does not seem to make a difference. Thanks Craig

Bad lift pump or dirty filter could do it. How is the fuel pressure?

Even heard of things being put in a tank and blocking the suction tube.

Are there any guages on it? Like fuel pressure?



Next you can retrieve the codes by cycling the key from off to on 3 times ending with it on. The odometer window will show the codes. Write them down and get back to us.
