High coolant temps

transmission swap

Dose anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram for a 95 12v. I am using the engion harnis from the dodge truck and ecu from the dodge turck. Every thing else on the truck is still from a ford power stroke. So if anyone can help I would apreceat it.

wiring harness?? what for? you need: 1 wire to your fuel pump shut down solenoid, 2 to your starter, 2-3 to your alternator, 1 to your temp guage. personally i would run aftermarket guages. i wired my 24 valve into my toyota pickup and got it running by connecting a total of 10 wires. your 12 valve is a piece of cake. good swap though!!!!! :)

I will check the after market junk CD Manual for my 96 - If it's there you can have a copy. It's in PDF so you will need a reader which is free from Adobe.

On a 12v. engine, there is no ECM/ECU. What it is, is a PCM (powertrain control module). Won't need it, unless you are using the Dogde automatic transmission. You will need to change the alternator to one with a internal regulator. The Dodge alt. uses the PCM to control the voltage output. Then you won't need the PCM.

thanks for the advice i might try to use my ford altenator just make a know braket for it and the gages i will figer out a knew waring harnis for thim Oo.
