Can someone tell me the offset and the backspacing for the stock 16 inch wheels on an 02 2500 I am looking for a set of after market wheels just want to make sure I get the right thing. I kind of like the Dick Cepek Torque Wheel.
The backspacing is 4" - 4. 5". It seems to depend on the specific wheel style or maybe how people measure it. You could take off an existing wheel and measure it.
• Offset is +44mm (this number doesn't change with rim width)
• Backspace is 6. 25" on 8" wide rim (the wider the rim the higher this number is)
If you are wanting to stay close to stock offset/backspace your choices are very limited. Centerline has the closest of any aftermarket wheel I've seen at 6. 0" of backspace on a 8. 5" rim, meaning it would extend only 1/2" more than stock. Here's the specs available of one of their 8-lug wheel models Centerline Wheels
It is easier to find good fitting wheels for '99 and older Rams since their offset is about an inch less.
