2002 - 3500 4x4 regular cab HO 6 speed (RED)

List- 35335

Sale price with rebates and instant cash - 29374

They offered me 800 more for my truck in trade than I paid for it 10 months ago. If I cashed in my extended warranty my payment on the new truck would be $2. 00 a month less than what it is now. Plus I would have a 3 year 36 month bumper to bumper and a 5 year 100k engine and a 7 year 70K drive train warranty. My wife does not want me to do it because it would be extending my payments for 10 months more than it is right now. I know but it would be the truck I wanted in the first place and it would fit in my garage ;) Women, you can't live with them and you can't live without them. Don't get me wrong I love my truck and will be happy keeping it but I thought this was a good deal :)

I say go for it. She will get over it after a few nights sleeping on the sofa. hehehe.

Serious tho it does sound like a great deal. :)

Normally I would but I have owned 21 different vehicles in the 20 years we have been together and she thinks I am nuts when it comes to vehicles. (she is right) I think she thinks I have a sickness :D Hell shes right. I'm like a addict when it comes to anything that has wheels ;) I keep telling her at least its not women or boozes :D I don't think she thinks I'm funny anymore. :)

I just picked up my 02 for $27K even after rebates, sticker was $32K. Basic options and nothing fancy, just a commuter and hauler for the Camaro.

dude screw the couch you can sleep in the truck. Seriously I myself ,woman or not, wouldnt pass it up. Although a h. o. 6 speed with 555 lb ft at 1400 rpm makes me think twice. After I pay my current truck off I think Ill get a slightly used third gen when it becomes available.

tell them that you will pay no more than $27,615 !!!!

trust me they have the room,

invoice about 31615. 00 - 2500 rebate - 500 dealer cash = 28,615

28,615 - Holdback of at least $1000 = $27615

I as a dealer would do that in a second just to get the old bodystyle off my lot!

let me know if you have any questions!

Re: Re: 2002's their trying to give them away

I just called my dealer. Told him what I wanted he was going to call me back. Well that was 6 hours ago. I guess they like to sell them as much as they like to fix them!

But he did say there was a $3000. 00 rebate on them, and they sell for darn near cost. I could get into a 2002 just like my 98 for $1000 less then it cost in 1998! Hell for the extra grand I would upgrade to leather if thats what they got!

But nobody in this area of PA stocks a 2wd, quad cab, long bed, 5 or 6 speed truck it seems.

Tell me, will the 275 injectors fit into a HO motor? does it make that much of a difference in the HO version?

All together, there is $4300 in rebates. Invoice... not list, minus rebates and a little of the dealers hold back and a loaded dually in in the $27K range... ... ... ... ... . I too could not pass it up. Anyone need a 2001/2500QC/ETH/DEE?????

TowPro. I know where your new truck is. I looked at it the other day but decided to go back to a dually. I can buy it for invoice less the rebates. It is sitting less than a mile from my lot. 2002/2500QC/ETH/DEE/SLT... . That truck should be back of $27K. Catch a smoker to DFW and I will pick you up and turn you around and point you back to Penn. I know you can buy that truck cheaper here than there. Or... ... ... ... ... buy my 2001????

After looking at the bottom line differences and cost to purchase the new truck. It would cost me $4000 difference between my 2000 and a new 2002 over the next 60 months. For that difference I would be much better off keeping the 2000. When you look at the numbers and if you already own a CTD it is hard to justify trading, you can't do it with dollars. After my warranty runs out in 2 1/2 years I could then lose my transmission and still be better off with the 2000. Glad I love this truck, cause once you own one it is hard to justify getting rid of it for a new one :)
