I am hoping that you guys can give me part numbers for u joints on my 2003. I need to replace the front and rear u joint on my main drive shaft. I have called around and no one seems to have part numbers for 2003, only 2002- and I don't know if they are compatible. I want a heavy duty joint, preferrably with zerk. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Try a search, if I remember correctly Napa has one (341?) Precision has one (330?) and I think even spicer has one (SP-5-188X). Don't quote me on the part numbers but the search should help.

what other detail's are needed? Parts stores were asking for year, model, size, and 4x4 or not. Truck is a 2003 auto, 4x4, 3500 SRW.

Since your truck is similar to mine except for the transmission my money would be on the Precision 351 or other manufactures equivilant. The best thing to do is to remove your u joints and take them to the local Napa or some other knowledgable auto parts store and have them match it by dimensions. They should have them in stock their books just don't reflect them as fitting our trucks. They should be around $30. If you go to Autozone or somewhere like it most of the time if it is not in the book they can't help you. of course there are exceptions. If you have a drive line shop nearby you could probably take the whole drive shaft to them and get both joints installed and everything for around a $100.

I used the Napa(Precision) 351's for mine with the 6-speed.

I have heard the autos take 295's. Check before buying... .
