2003 6disk in dash changer....

does the in dash changer have a provision for an additional disk changer. i want to add an input without using an FM modulator?

I believe so, but you'll have to use a Mopar CD changer. I'll check one of my lab samples tomorrow just to make sure.

DF, I have the six CD changer and I have never seen any easy, front of the deck, way to add additional capacity. And as I recall from when I read the manual on it's operation, I do no not recall any instructions for this type of operation. And when I think about space to put another changer in the truck, you are pretty limited. The passenger front seat has the jack and tire tool under it, the drivers seat goes down quite a ways. The storage areas under the rear seat is limited in size. It might be a difficult add-on.

i thought i read that the changer had a provision to install an additional unit, plug into the back without the use of an RF modulator. like the serrius unit by dodge. gonna have to make a trip to the dealer i guess.

It will allow you to connect 3 devices along with your factory or aftermarket cd changer without an FM modulator. Pretty nifty!

I think that will address/solve your prob.

Theres a metal plate under the passengers seat to mount the changer on.
