The cruise light will light up on the dash, but one day it was working and the next day nothing on the set, acc or resume would work. I cane not find a blown fuse or anything that is labled a fuse for it. Any ideas?

It happened to me on my 03 2500. I would check the vacuum hoses right around the fuel filter area. On of mine was half eaten through from rubbing on each other.

Yes, but should the pump be running all the time? It is running when the motor is off but the key is on and it seems to be running all the time that the motor is running and in park.

That is not correct the pump should run and build up vacuum and cycle off when sitting in park. Mine had a problem that after I got going it could not generate enough to keep the srvo happy and would totally drop out of cruise. Pump was replace under warranty and all has been ok since.

Thanks for all of your help! This is the best help I have ever had with any truck problem, heck the dodge sealer dosen't help this much!

Man, I would really check those vacuum hoses. I ended up cutting the bad section and putting a thick walled rubber hose over the good sections to splice them.

Have you checked the hoses?

Found the problem

Where dose the hose that goes up in to the dash go? I have icolated the other and found the the vaccum leak is under the dash, but what dose this hose run? With the pump disconnected the only thing that doesn't work it the Cruse.

I believe the pump only runs the cruise - nothing else. I'm not sure why there's a hose running to the dash; according to the service manual there shouldn't be one. The cruise servo is located under the driver-side battery, so there should be a line that runs under there.

On most of the gas engines, a vacuum reservoir is used. It's located under the cowl grille (the black plastic thing from which the wipers emerge). Maybe you actually have a reservoir under there?

Here's a few diagrams that might help:
