TTVA causing low power

my turn for transmission troubles. Just started to notice a “chatter” when taking off from a stop with the trailer on. Also noticed it tonight with 1000# of feed in the bed. Transmission or TQ converter? Has a deep pan on it with ATF+4 fluid, trans temp runs about 170 or so towing the trailer and tractor...appx 12k. If it is a transmission, where is the best place to go. Fire punk is close to me (couple hrs) but not sure. I do not race it or pull it. Use it to tow my pulling tractor around. Oh yeah, 156k miles on it.

Thanks

Launch shudder. Double check the center bearing. If it is only with weight on the rear axle and everything else is good, you can put the next shorter center bearing support in it. It doesn't hurt anything, it's just annoying.

Is this a common issue? Have a part number? Thanks

It used to be back when that vintage of truck was new. There was a really old TSB that listed the center support bracket part numbers. If I get a chance I will try and find it. If the shudder goes away by about 10 mph in low gear you are chasing the correct area.
