Ok my buddy has a 03 3500 with a south bend clutch in it. he can go out and bang gears and mash it from a stop with no problems. But somtimes going around a corner up or down hill it slips only about half the time not always. I have no clue were to start on this one.

What kind of sb clutch? How much weight is in or towed by the clutch. How long has it been in the truck and what power mods does he have.

I am close to 650hp with my set up and no slipping even when pulling a 14k trailer. Need more info to make a suggerstion.

Make sure there is no oil dripping from the bell housing. The NV5600 is prone to leaking out of the input shaft seal.

Sorry it took so long to get back. No load stock weight quad cab long bed dualy it has 100hp injectors and a 100hp dr proformance chip and the biggest single you can get

Sounds like the clutch is a FE, they are rated @ max 450 HP. With the mods you listed

he could be pushing that HP I would say. My not be enough clutch! Best advice is to call Peter @ SB. He is the "Man", he can put him on the path.

Thanks,

Lynn

Sorry it took me so long to finish this post. The clutch was slipping and we don't know what the problem was on the hills but he got stuck in a snow drift and finished the clutch. It came out melted to the pressure plate. He ordered the biggest single he could get and we put it back in their. Time will tell I guess. Thanks for all the responses.
