2003 dodge automatic transmission

Hey, anybody having problems shifting from park to drive when it is cold outside (10 degrees F or colder). It usually take 2-3 miniutes to be able to shift even if truck has been running?

(This truck is a 2003 2500 automatic not manual)

I have a '96 gasser that does the same thing. The solution is to warm the truck up in neutral, as the pump in the trans. does not spin when in park. In neutral you'll build pressure faster and be able to drive off. My service guy told me there's a bad check valve in the cooler hose that causes the problem, that it lets the pressure go down in the trans. when it sits.

A bit confused here... Your sig says you have a 6 speed... . Are you talking about this truck or one with a 48re? My truck gets into drive right after I back it out of the garage at startup. No problems here.
