2003 headlights...

i have a 2003 on order, and am considering ordering a HID light upgrade kit, i do not however know what type of bulb the low beam is. does anybody have any recommendations? i will try to enclose the link for the bulb upgrade site.

If I had to make a guess I would say they will either be 9007 or 9004. HID lighting are still WAY too much for me to get them. Make sure you get one that is low/high beam. Good luck

Looking in manual that comes with the 2003 it says Headlamp(Halogen)9007QL

Thank goodness. I had 9007s in my 90 and 93 Ford F150s - GREAT bulb, much better throw, and 10 more watts of low beam light than the cheesy 9004s.

Funny, my 2000 Dakota had 9007's and I could see no better with the lights on than off. Must've been the reflector.
