2003, Likes and Dislikes, Pros and Cons

Stock power (HO) is excellent

Good mileage

Comfortable seats

Backup lights illuminate to the side

Headlights illuminate to the side



<b>Dislikes/Cons:</b>

The payment

Gave up nice add-ons in old truck; most notably the ebrake

More pronounced odor from crankcase breather tube



<b>Undecided:</b>

It's quiet



ps: I have a solution for the crankcase breather tube problem that I'll publish when I get the details ironed out. The solution will work on 1998. 5s and up.

Or you saying that the 03 have a draft tube like my 00 did till I eliminated it. I thought(could be wrong) that I read on here that the new engine did not have one. You would think that they would learn by there mistakes.

yessirree; a good 'ol stinky crankcase breather tube. Not as long as the old one and it's black so it isn't as obvious.



950 miles and still smelly. On the old truck it would stink for about a tank of fuel after an oil change; then go away.
