Archived 2003 Lots of codes runs like Crap???

I have this 03 3500 single wheel truck has 125k miles on it truck was running great untill about a week or so ago the injectors started to hammer very loud truck is all stock but it still run really good the noise would kill you though. . I just bought 6 new reman injectors from Dynomite and installed them today and the truck runs very bad now I also put a Airdog Raptor pump on it that I had bought last week as well I have put like 80 miles on it since the injectors and I mean it runs really bad it will loose speed on the slightest little hill in 5th or 6th its bad. The codes in the truck are 0234,0237,0628 there is a couple of them that are in there 2 times?? I have checked and doubled checked everything and have no idea. . Thanks TJ 573 426 5199

Have you tried replacing the MAP (boost pressure) sensor? DTC's P0234 and P0237 indicate a failed MAP sensor.



DTC P0628 is usually related to lift pump failure, but since you've installed a new pump, that just could be an old code left over.



Try replacing that MAP sensor.

I just took the map sensor off of another truck and tried it and the same thing no diff. . I have no Idea I have been looking all over the net and cant a thing. . Thanks. . I do have a donor truck here to try and switch parts. .

Check your FCA? I would say your lift pump, but Airdog rules that out.

Fixed the truck!!!!!!!

Well we got the truck fixed and it was the crossover tubes in the head not alinged up right what a deal but we are very happy its fixed. .

That seems to be a more and more common problem now that more are changing injectors. Was there a gross error? Or are they that finicky?

They are just finiky I was told by Dynomite Diesel that they have had several people have this problem and it fixed it so we tried it and it fixed it. . Good bunch of guys out there in Washington. . TJ
