Which brand of serpentine belt??

2007 LATE Denso starter 100,000 mi maintenance

Got stranded last weekend, my dad has to come tow me with his Chevy (8.1/Allison) so that was embarrassing.

Truck still won’t start. Did fca plug test that indicated a bad lift pump (in-tank retrofit) so I ordered a new pump. Installed and still no start. With fca plugged in, pump only runs for a second. Fca unplugged the lift pump doesn’t even run. I cleared the codes, but it had the dreaded P0251 when it died.

What do you guys think? Bad fca? Cascade valve stuck open? CP3 poo the bed? ECM??

A little background, truck is stock, 6spd 4X4. Driving down to VA from NH. Truck bucks a few times outside of DC and then just stalls. No start condition since then.

I’m borrowing my dad’s truck while I’m in town, but I need my truck back up. Help!!

There is no fuel running from the filter bowl with key on , and switching relays (parking lamp #73) from the fuse box to the retrofit makes no difference. Hoping the fca is shot and installing a new one works. Wish there was a local guy here I could swap fca’s with to verify, but no go so far. Anyone in the Hampton roads area lurking?

Anyone know if the fca can kill the DC voltage to the pump? Or is it the ECM that sends the signal? The way it stalled hinted fuel starvation...

There was a short in the harness behind the inner fender well. Crimped a connector on and now I’m back in business. Someone else on here had the same issue, thank god I found his post after searching.
