2003 Ram 1500 Anti-theft issue

I've been having a very annoying problem with the stock (Karr) anti-theft sytem in the truck. The system will go into alarm at random times, but only when my truck is parked at work! This is incredibly inconvenient because I work at a firehouse, and the alarm will sound almost always at 11:00 at night (and wake everyone up). Yes, I have confirmed that no one is messing with me. I have had my keys next to my bed when it has gone into alarm mode. Anyway, the dealership that I bought the truck from says that there is nothing wrong with the system. And, the manufacturer of the system says the same. The only explanation that I can think of is cell interference (all of our stations have cell towers) is setting off the alarm. Again, it only happens at work. Well, I am fed up and hope to find a solution to my problem. Please help!!! I have currently disabled the system to prevent this problem from continuing, but this leaves the security system useless. Also, with the system disabled the sytem LED light stays on indefinetly (very annoying when it is dark outside, almost blinding). #@$%!

That sounds annoying but I'll bet your right about your stations electronics. Sorry I don't have a solution for you but I do have a suggestion if you decide to take another route.



I have a Ravelco and wouldn't have anything else.
