Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
The up/down function on the drivers seat in my 03 2500 has been acting up for the last 3 years. Normally it would stick but then I could get it to move by hitting the button a few times. Yesterday I raised it to clean underneath and now it won't go down. The motor or motors just hum but neither front nor rear will budge. I can't drive the truck comfortably in this position so this is not good. I know many members have had to replace motors, but could this just be something stuck? It's odd that both the front and rear motors would strip at the same moment. How hard is it to remove the seat to check and is there any way to get it down if I don't want to replace the motors?
