WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU! ;)

Well, 2500 SO trucks have a 10. 5 inch axle, while 2500 HO and all 3500 trucks have the 11. 5 inch axle. Plus the overloads, as mentioned. :)

I think the 10. 5 inch axle is used with the SO Cummins but only with the automatic transmissions. My 5-spd has the 11. 5.

My truck is Teddy Roosevelt

a rough riding son of a gun! I talked with two different suspension shops, and they said shocks like Bilsteins or Kings won't make much difference- my problem is running empty, it is rough on the highway!

Both suggested removing a leaf from the rear springs. I don't haul that often, but hate to lose the capacity "just in case. " I know Velvet Ride is (someday) coming out with a product- other than a $4k T-Rex system, does anyone have any ideas- and don't say buy a car!

Suspentions

JFreeman, I just had a ride in Clint Cannon's (ATS Transmissions,Denver CO. ) new 2500 with the Kelderman Air Ride suspension, at the October Showdown in Tulare, CA. We hit a big bump at 80 mph. (pretty sure we went airborne), and that truck landed beautifully. I couldn't believe it! If I had done that with my new 3500, I would have had to see Dr. Crackenback, the Chiropractor, to get my spine re-aligned. That was my first ride in a Kelderman equipped truck and, I was impressed. Hope this helps. Joe Fihn (Buffalo)

I posted 5 pictures in my gallery I took of my rear brakes on my 3500 SRW when I recently rotated my tires, there is one where you can see the numbers on the caliper, maybe this will help figure out if there is a difference.
