I HAVE A 2003 CUMMINS WITH AND AUTO AND 4 WHEEL DRIVE. iT SPIT A CODE OF P0700 THE OTHER DAY AND WONT GO AWAY ANY IDEAS? AND MY NEXT QUESTION IS HOW DO I PERFORM THE PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE TEST? I SEEM TO THINK ITS BAD BECAUSE I CAN TAKE THE FUEL RETURN LINE OFF START IT UP AND IT PISSES FUEL ALL OVER THE PLACE AND IT SEEM S TO ME I READ SOMEONE SAYING IT SHOULDN'T PUKE ANYFUEL UNTIL WOT.

If you pulled the banjo bolt out of the relief valve and it spilled fuel when running, yes it is bad.



edit: P0700 is transmission control system malfunction.

the p0700 code is letting you know there is a code in the trans controler. you have to clear the trans code before the p0700 can be cleared. you obviously want to find out why it set the code . hope its not to serious.
