2004.5 and 1994 Auto Trans Interchangeability?

I have a Suncoast trans a DTT converter in my 1994 2500 CTD. My 2004. 5 2500 CTD has a 4 speed auto. Both are 4WD. This may be a stupid question, but will the '94 trans and converter bolt in the 2004. 5? If not, will the converter at least work?

Sorry, won't bolt in and the TC's are different.



The one in your 94 is a 47RH, the one in your 04. 5 is a 48RE. Lots of differences in connections, controls, and internal parts.
