Hello,
I have a 2004.5 Gen 3 cummins with 150k on it. The trans was rebuilt 3k ago and have noticed that before and after the rebuild that it was always having a crisp shift and also a fast shift between 3 and 4. I was wondering if this can be attributed to the TV cable or something else. After installing the freshly rebuilt 48RE i still noticed the crisp shifting even though the throttle body was also rebuilt and the put in new selinoids. The rebuild consisted of a bullet torque converter, rebuilt TB, rayspestos clutches and new neutral safety switch. I couldn't find much information online regarding TV cable adjustments for a 2004.5 cummins, however I did read that a simple TV adjustment on previous generations was a noteworthy fix. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
