2004 Dodge CTD HO

According to my Owners Manual there is a block heater that came installed on the truck. However, the A/C power cord is a factoy option. Does any body know if this is a fact.



Being new to CTD's I don't even know where to look for it and the dealer I bought it from is about 400 miles from here.



I called 1-800-diesels (Cummons Help Line) and they couldn't tell me anything about it.

It does make sense the option is only 10$. When mine comes in I will tell everyone where it is at on the block.

Have a 2003 and mine is right in the front left corner of the grill assembly

You can find it in the owners manual. I say that in case yours is in a different location than mine. If I open the hood my plug is positioned in the upper passenger side between the radiator and the headlamp assembly.

Cord

There isn't an A/C power cord on my truck. The manual states that it is a factory installed option for the cord. I want to know where the heater is mounted on the engine.

Its just screwed into the block just a tad to the left of the oil filter.
