2004 Flatbed/dump conversion in Indiana

Does anyone recommend a flatbed/dump conversion for a 2004 3500 DRW? Does anyone know of a good place to have this done at near southern Indiana?



I've got an '04 quad cab, DRW and I would like to put a flatbed on it. Something I could add side boards to and haul some gravel with. I am going to be buying some land and thought it would be nice to use while I am building my house.



Anyone have any pics, I would love to see them

Have had both brands on the old Chevy grain trucks. Both have been very good, but prefer the KNAPHEIDE over the PARKHURST.

I'd be surprised if anyone makes a dump kit for the 04's. Not saying they dont exist but since DC (in their infinite wisdom) decided to not offer cab/chassis 3500's in a dual rear wheel form... and they severely limit the bodies which can replace the bed nobody I could find did anything with 03/04 Dodge DRW's. They are so proud of the hydroformed super strong rear chassis that they don't want you to use it with anything but a pickup bed. That was my take on a recent research into them. Kinda pointless to make a DRW truck that can't adapt to just about anything. We have a 94 3500 dump at work and its tough. Sits pretty tall for a 2WD also.

Wonder if you would have to double frame it to take the stress of a hoist?
