2004 HO vs 2002 W/EDGE EZ

I CURRENTLY OWN A 2002 2500 QUAD CAB 4X4 AUTO 3:55 GEARED TRUCK WITH THE EDGE EZ. I'M VERY INTERESTED IN A 2004 2500 QUAD CAB H. O. AUTO WITH 3:73 GEARS. WILL THE NEW ONE FEEL AT LEAST AS POWERFUL AS MY CURRENT TRUCK??

I don't know about the '04's but the '03's are not as strong as a '02 H. O. with a EZ. Already raced my buddy and pulled him good on top end. Now w/the injectors I can stay right ahead of him with his Diablo 100hp chip. But I think 100hp is a little more than it really puts out.

Stock to stock they are even. Buddy has a 02 HO 6speed 3. 55:1 R&P SB QC 2500. He gets about 1 MPG better than mine when we trailer our Jeeps together. Our towed weights are very similar.



So I would say an 02 with a Chip will definitely outpull a stock 3G.
