My rear brake line, the one that connects to the end of the hard line at the bracket above the rear axle. The flexible one with the distribution block bolted to the top of the axle went rusty and leaking at the connection. I got a new one... pulled the old one out only to discover the new one has a larger female fitting at the bracket end than the old one. The fitting won't even pass through the bracket. I'm hoping I can get the correct one local as I need to use the truck tommorow to pick up my new trailer 2 and a half hours away. Anybody else run into this problem?
I was able to use the same line wrench on both the distribution block and the single end up at the bracket to remove the old one (12mm)
And yes the end of the old one entirely rusted away from the line fitting.

That is keyed, you have to turn it just right before it will go in the hole.

My Chrysler Town and Country is the same way..and it can make you swear if you can't see it that well...

See on the lower part of the nut end where it is smooth....where the sixth point should be....

I don’t think so, for some reason Mopar uses great big flare nuts in places using 3/16” and 1/4” standard brake lines...
