Yeah, I'd say the Zaino works

What gears come standard on a 2004 6 speed HO? My brother just bought a brand new one, and according to his RPMs at 75 MPH, he has 4. 10's, even though the sticker did not reflect this.

Can anyone shed some light on this???

I believe that 3. 73's are standard and 4. 10's an option. If he looks in the glove box, on the back surface of the door, there is a sticker that shows options and such. I know that it shows the 4. 10's on mine (option) though I don't know if it shows when you have the 3. 73's... . It might just show options.

What RPM is he turning ?... at 60 I am at about 2075 with the 4. 10's

It used to be 3. 54s and 4. 10s when Dodge used the Dana axles. I prefer the 3. 54 ratio of my old truck.

With the '03 2000 RPM is just a nudge under 70. 2000 RPM gave me around 72 with the '01.

I used Klengers worksheet to determine that 2000 rpm at 60 mph would be just fine for my purposes . I tow at about 60 or 65 and that puts rpm right in the sweet spot. . And 16. 2 mpg empty also

I checked the sticker again and it makes no mention of 4. 10's. Do you think if we take it back to the dealer he can switch them out, or compensate him in some way. He wanted the 3. 73s for the mileage aspect, as he does not tow very much. He is turning about 2500 RPM's at 75MPH-

Thanks for all the help, it is appreciated.
