2004 Vrs 2004.5

How can you tell if the truck is a 2004 or a 2004. 5? Is it the motor production date or is it actualy writen somewhere? What are the HP/Torque rating of each? Does the 2004. 5 have that 3rd pulse of injection like the 2005?

Answers 1,2: Check white data tag on Drivers side of engine near air intake horn on head. This tag will tell you what date the engine was manufactured and hp rating.



3. 04=305hp, 04. 5=325hp.
