2005 air box

Any body know where I can get the bottom half of the air filter box for a 2005 truck?

I bought one on line from a diesel website member and got screwed out of $30. 00. The box was broke when it arrived (tabs broke off), He sent it by the most expensive shipping $15. 00 and I paid the shipping. To top it all off after I cut holes in the bottom and went to install it the air box was for a 03 truck. He offered to take the air box back but there was no way I was going to pay more money to send it back unless he paid me my money back first.



I know about psmbuick and you need to buy his intake kit first consisting of a 2 dollar hose, 4 dollar dryer flange all for only $89. 00 plus $10. 00 shipping and then you can buy the filter box bottom for $60. 00.



I would just do my air box but after the warranty fiascal with the 99 cummins there is no way I'll chance anything on this truck.

I have the stock one from my 04. 5... don't know if it is the same though... I'm running a 03 box on my truck right now... it was the same short an added 1/2 inch to the snorkel that extended through the fender...



They are on ebay all the time... I paid less than $30 shipped for mine and it was in perfect condition.
