2005 auto 48re trans won't shift

Started hanging up between 2nd and drive so changed fluids and filter and adjusted front bands. Now it feels right when in reverse but when put in 1 there's a major delay going in when it does and it feels like it's not completely in. Could it be the solenoid and transducer? Single mom and this is only vehicle I'm in dire need for some input please and thank you

Try to replace gov pressure solenoid and transducer.

I second what PWong said.
The solenoid conversion to GM style is the best way to go, so you don't have this issue again.
When my 03.5 did that to me, I went to a Suncoast full billet valve body with the other bits that go with it, but I figure it was a good thing to firm up shifts as Sunday drive shifts actually wear the trans more.
